“Fewer pilots, more impact.”

1

What change will have the greatest impact over the next 12 months?

We are entering a second phase of AI adoption. After the widespread rollout of productivity tools, the focus will shift to redesigning processes around what the technology can now do. Impact will no longer be measured by licences, prompts or agents, but by actual changes to processes and the results achieved.

2

What concrete step should companies take now?

Companies should build a permanent capacity for adoption, with executive ownership, dedicated people and measurable goals. A small, multidisciplinary team can maintain a pipeline of opportunities, support business units, ensure governance and measure results without becoming another silo.

3

What challenge do organisations still underestimate?

Despite advances in the models, adoption remains the main challenge. Having technology, training or pilot projects does not mean an organisation has changed how it works. The key is to identify which activities have become faster, which decisions have improved and what additional value AI has created.

4

What change in governanceis most urgent?

Governance should be treated as a management capability, not merely a compliance exercise. Companies need to inventory systems and use cases, classify risks, assign owners and levels of autonomy, and ensure human oversight. Governance should enable faster, safer and more informed adoption.
