Pedro Santos is a Partner and Head of Tax at Grant Thornton Portugal, having joined the firm in 2006.
He has more than 25 years of experience in taxation, with particular expertise in VAT, international taxation, and transfer pricing.
Throughout his career, he has advised on tax due diligence and tax advisory projects for both domestic and multinational clients, with extensive experience in the following sectors:
- Real estate;
- Financial services;
- Tourism;
- Construction;
- Consumer goods.
He also has a strong academic background and has been a lecturer in accounting and taxation at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management since 2003.
He holds a degree in Business Management from ISCTE, a Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation, and an MBA from ISEG. He is a member of the Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants.
