Pedro Nunes is the Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Portugal, with extensive experience in financial audit, statutory audit, and risk management.
He has been with the firm since 1998, developing his career within the Audit & Assurance practice and leading national and international engagements for clients across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, hospitality, education, and regulated entities.
His expertise includes, in particular:
- Financial audits;
- Statutory audit;
- Internal control systems;
- Due diligence;
- Technical and financial audits of projects funded by EU programmes;
- Risk management;
- Coordination of international engagements;
- Quality control and audit methodology review projects.
Throughout his career, he has coordinated international engagements in collaboration with firms across the Grant Thornton network.
He holds a degree in Business Organisation and Management from ISCTE, has been a Statutory Auditor since 2005, and is registered with the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
