Jorge Ledo is a Statutory Auditor and Audit Partner with more than 25 years of experience conducting financial audits and statutory audits for public and private entities across a wide range of industries and organisational sizes.
He was one of the partners responsible for establishing Grant Thornton's Porto office and has since played a leading role in the firm's Audit practice.
Throughout his career, he has advised listed companies, as well as entities subject to mandatory reporting requirements before the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), ensuring that external audits are conducted in full compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
His experience spans a broad range of industries, with particular expertise in the industrial sector, complemented by in-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, particularly IFRS and US GAAP.
He holds a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and is registered with both the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors (OROC) and the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), under registration numbers 591 and 20160246, respectively.
His primary focus is to help organisations ensure the reliability of financial information, comply with audit and reporting obligations, and promote transparency and robust accounting practices in an increasingly demanding business and regulatory environment.
