Filipe Areosa is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance practice at Grant Thornton Portugal, with more than 30 years of experience in financial audit and statutory audit.
Throughout his career, he has advised national and international companies across a wide range of industries, leading financial audit engagements, financial reporting projects, and transitions to international financial reporting standards, particularly IFRS.
His expertise includes, in particular:
- Financial audit;
- Statutory audit;
- Financial reporting;
- Conversion to and implementation of international accounting standards;
- Technical and regulatory matters relating to the auditing profession.
Before joining Grant Thornton Portugal, he built his career at Deloitte, where he reached the position of Senior Manager.
He holds a degree in Management from Universidade Portucalense, a bachelor's degree in Accounting from ISCAP, and has been a Statutory Auditor since 1998.
