Catarina dos Santos Sequeira is an Assistant Manager and Lawyer at Grant Thornton Portugal, where she leads the Immigration Department and also practises in the areas of Real Estate Law and Urban Planning.
With extensive experience in Immigration Law, Nationality Law, and Real Estate Law, she advises private clients, investors, and businesses on international mobility, investment in Portugal, the acquisition and development of real estate assets, and related legal matters.
Throughout her career, she has worked at leading law firms, served as in-house legal counsel, and held a position within the Office of the Minister of Internal Administration, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the legal and administrative challenges associated with immigration and foreign investment.
She advises clients on immigration and nationality matters, real estate investment transactions, due diligence, contract negotiation, and urban planning issues, adopting a technical, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach focused on achieving clients' objectives.
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and completed the taught component of the Master's programme in Law and Management at the NOVA School of Law. She has been admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association since 2019.
