Ana Cristina Borges is a lawyer with 30 years of experience in Real Estate Law, Urban Planning, Land Use Planning, and Administrative Litigation.
Throughout her career, she has advised public and private sector organisations on the structuring, licensing, and legal management of real estate transactions and urban development projects.
Her practice focuses particularly on the following areas:
- Management of complex urban planning procedures;
- Regularisation of real estate assets;
- Property transactions;
- Litigation relating to urban planning matters.
She previously served as Senior Associate and Of Counsel at an international law firm, following a long career at Lisbon City Council, where she held senior leadership positions in the areas of urban planning, litigation, and notarial services.
She is currently a Partner at Grant Thornton & Associados – Sociedade Multidisciplinar, SP, LDA.
Ana Cristina holds a Law degree from Universidade Lusíada and postgraduate qualifications in Urban Legal Studies and Administrative Litigation. She also regularly participates in conferences and specialist training programmes on urban planning legislation.
