Pedro joined the Lisbon office of Grant Thornton in Portugal in May 2006 as the manager of tax.

Experience
Pedro has over 10 years of experience having dealt with all areas of taxation, with a focus on VAT.

He also has experience in transfer pricing and due diligence projects, having been involved in assignments with major multinational clients.

Pedro has also been a teacher of accounting and taxation since 2003 at the Technical University of Lisbon.

Prior to working for Grant Thornton in Portugal, Pedro worked for Arthur Andersen for 5 years as a tax consultant in the VAT department.

Professional qualifications and memberships
Pedro is a graduate in business administration and has a post-graduate degree in taxation as well as an MBA from the Technical University of Lisbon.
He is also a member of the Chamber of Statutory Official Accountants.

Languages spoken
Pedro is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
